Christopher Brown was born in Thompson, Manitoba at The Thompson General Hospital. Chris grew up in Thompson and made many life-long friendships. He owned his own business (North Edge Electric) and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and socializing with family and friends. Growing up, Chris’s  favourite pastime included hockey and baseball. Chris was humorous, adventurous and loved to have fun. He was a smart personable person who left a memorable impression on the people he encountered and will always be forever remembered. 

Christopher was predeceased by Great-Grandmother: Laura Bailey; Grandfather: Joseph Brown; Cousin: Nicholas Brown; Childhood friend Micheal Landherr; and many other friends and family. Followed in death by Grandfather: Joseph Cormier. He is survived by Parents: Debra Cormier & Stephen Brown; Brother: Randy Brown (Katrina); Nephew: Kayden Brown; Nieces: Gracie, McKenzie, and Sophia Brown; Grandmothers: Margaret Cormier and Joan Brown; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins & good friends. 

Christopher will have a celebration of life be held in his honour as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Christopher’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at the Thompson Legion on June 8th between 2 pm and 6 pm.  In memory of his compassion for stray dogs and his love for his dog Coop, we ask that any donations be made to the Thompson Humane Society in Chris’s memory.
