CJ's obituary

Christopher Steven Green Jr., affectionately known as CJ, was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him. Born on August 23, 2002, in Reading, Pennsylvania, CJ's journey on this earth was a testament to the power of joy, love, and passion. His life, tragically cut short on April 6, 2025, in the very town where he first breathed life, he will forever be remembered not for the untimely end of his life, but for the indelible impact he left on his community.

CJ's laughter was the thread that wove through the fabric of his family's heart. The cherished son of Christopher and Tracy Green, he grew up alongside his loving sister, Salena, and his protective brothers, Dominick and Noah. His bond with his family was unbreakable, a source of strength and unity. CJ's best friend, Damian, stood by him as a brother in spirit, sharing adventures and dreams alike. CJ was the proud grandson of Denise Satterwhite who. Was always his biggest cheerleader in her eyes CJ could do anything he put his mind to. His adoring grandparents  James and Donna Green and  his MomMom -Gail McMullen. He is also the   beloved nephew and cousin to a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold him dear.

CJ attended Daniel Boone High School. CJ's academic journey was marked by his infectious enthusiasm and a curiosity that knew no bounds. He approached learning with the same fervor he brought to every aspect of his life, inspiring his peers and teachers alike.

CJ's interests were a reflection of his vibrant spirit. Music was his soul's language, a medium through which he expressed his deepest emotions and brought joy to those around him. His friends were his chosen family, a brotherhood and sisterhood formed through shared laughter and unwavering support. CJ's moments with his mother, watching movies, were some of his most treasured times—simple yet profound, a testament to the power of presence and love. Stolen moments with his father wrenching in the garage and talking about shared dreams of his future helped them build their close-knit bond.

Described as funny, loving, and passionate, CJ's essence can hardly be captured in words alone. His humor was a gift that lifted spirits, and his love was a sanctuary for those fortunate enough to receive it. His passion was the fuel that drove him to pursue every moment with vigor and purpose, leaving an indelible mark on the world.

In the words of the great poet Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." CJ embodied this sentiment, leaving an unforgettable impression on the hearts of all he encountered. His legacy is one of laughter, love, and the relentless pursuit of passion. As a motivational speaker would remind us in times of sorrow, "The only way to live a remarkable life is not to be afraid to be different."

CJ lived a life that was nothing short of remarkable. He was unique in every sense of the word, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him to embrace their individuality and live with courage. Though CJ's physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit is eternal—a guiding star in the vast sky of memories. His life, though brief, was a masterclass in making every moment count, loving without reservation, and finding humor in the dance of life.
