Chris, 34, of Edmonton, AB, passed away suddenly on February 25, 2023. His family is shocked, deeply saddened, and heartbroken by his loss.

Chris was born on December 27, 1988 in St. Albert, AB. He grew up in Slave Lake, AB and after finishing school, he moved to Edmonton, AB where he pursued his career and made his home. Chris had an extensive knowledge, passion and perfection for automotive refinishing in all types of premium and antique cars.  He gained quite the reputation as a finisher of choice by many car, boat, bike and RV owners.  He loved attending auto car shows. He dedicated time and had a hidden talent of fine hand carpentry, and was an exceptional chef.  He was a bright, compassionate, loyal and kind individual, with an abounding personality and a gift to make anyone laugh and feel comfortable.  Anyone who knew Chris, knew that they were in the company of a great, compassionate, and understanding friend who passed no judgement, and received everyone for who they were.  He was always a source of positivity, laugher, fun and the highlight of any party.

Chris is survived by his parents, Garry and Rachel Carriere, and Dave and Shannon Platt; daughter, Mackenzie Hubbard; siblings, Noella (Clement), Miranda (Josh), Shawn (Candace), Pamela, and Daphne; nephews, Thexon and Gavin; niece, Aubrey; and his canine pal Marshall.

His family will miss him more than words can say.
