Chris and I worked together at Empire Today. He was such a great friend and helped me so much. I knew I could always count on him and his support. After we were both gone from Empire we kept in touch and talked and laughed so much when we would reminisce about our time together at Empire.

I will miss our talks greatly.

To his family I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in my prayers. I will keep Chris in my prayers as well and will never forget how special he was.

I met Chopper at ASU, and lived with him and Wes at the condo for a few years after we graduated. From walking to Mill, to impromptu weeknight hangouts that resulted in buying swords and knives off the Home Shopping Network — we made some lasting memories.

The condo had an open door policy (almost to a fault, lol) and I will never forget how many people would randomly stop by just to hang on the balcony or grab a beer & watch a few innings. Everyone loved Chris and I’m lucky to have known him - he introduced me to a lot of great people, which were a true extension of his character and I am still friends with to this day.

Gonna miss you, BBQ…

You will be missed BBQ Blaskie (aka Chopper). I worked with Chris at Home Depot and lived with him for a few years while attending ASU. He was a great friend and cared for all. So many memories from college....especially during our time at the Ocotillo dorm. BBQ would give the shirt off his back to anyone. See you in heaven someday! To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need anything, do not hesitate to reach out. Our time and memories with BBQ will live on

Chris spent time with his friends in Phoenix at my Halloween party. I am so saddened by his leaving us too soon. He was a great friend to my son, Christopher and Jenn. He was loved by us all and was a favorite of my late husband, Jim. I am so sorry for your loss. We will all miss him.
