Our hearts are heavy as we share the sudden loss of Chandler "Jet" Jones, who passed away on June 22nd, 2025. At 33, Chandler packed more life, love, and laughter into his years than most people do in a lifetime.
If you knew Chandler, you knew his magnetic energy. He was the guy who could turn strangers into lifelong friends in a single conversation. Whether he was setting records on the football field, mentoring young athletes as a coach, or just showing up when you needed him most, Chandler had this rare ability to make everyone around him feel valued and loved.
Yes, he had an incredible athletic career from Bishop Montgomery to San Jose State (where he still holds reception records), to the NFL and CFL, and most recently helping the Montreal Alouettes win the Grey Cup as a coach. But those who loved Chandler know his greatest achievement was simply being himself: genuine, caring, and endlessly supportive of others.
We know many people have been asking how they can honor Chandler's memory and support his family during this time. If you'd like to contribute to help with memorial expenses as a way to celebrate the incredible person he was, we've set up this fund.
Chandler gave so much of himself to everyone around him. If his friendship, mentorship, or simply his presence made a difference in your life, this is one way to give back and show love to the family he treasured.
