Kristen so sorry. It took me several days since talking to Kel to view this page and yet there are no words to help the pain. From my own experience with my nephew, you will find a way to live with this deepest darkest pain and keep him with you forever. If you ever want to talk , don’t hesitate to call.

I have no words that will comfort you in this time of grief, but may Carter’s memory live on through you both and his sisters. We love you and support you in whatever you need.

Drew, I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I worked at CHCA while you were here.  I just learned today of your devastating loss. My heart breaks for you and your wife and your entire family.  Your eulogy was beautiful and moving, and in it I see a lot of you.   Please know I am praying for all of you that God will wrap you in His comforting assurances

Drew and Kristen,

Words cannot begin to express how deeply sorry we are for the passing of little Carter. Life seems unfair at times, and it’s important to remember that God has a plan for him, and he needed him much sooner than anyone could have thought. We are sending our strongest angels your way to help you through this difficult time. Carter will always be with you in your hearts.

I wish I had words that would ease your sadness, prayers to give you strength. There will be sounds and smells you come across while walking that bring your son to mind. These will make you smile and know he is always with you. I pray for strength for the family.

Carter was the most beautiful, sweet, joyful soul.  I am so thankful for the time our boys got to have playing together and I know Owen’s love for trucks and cars is because of Carter showing him his for the first time.  Drew and I are here for you always, at any time.  We love all of you so very much.
