Carrie's obituary

It is with great sorrow that the Wilt and Williams families announce the passing of our kind, caring and unimaginably generous wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Carrie Ann Wilt. She was born in Port Huron, Michigan on August 25, 1979 to Robert and Jamie Williams.

Carrie is survived by her wife Ashley, her son Austin Smith, and her mother and father, Jamie and Robert Williams. Forever loved by her siblings Jason Williams and his wife Gretchen, and Christine Williams and her children Johnny, Anthony, and Zariah. Carrie is also remembered by her grandmother Harrietta Ryan. She is greatly loved by her spoiled rotten French Bulldogs, Preston and Greyson.

Carrie was incredibly close to her family and friends and tried her best to always support anyone in need. She lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. She was a loving and dedicated mom and aunt; her son, nephews, niece, and godson Wyatt meant more to her than words can describe. She was the happiest when she was traveling, camping in the RV, cheering for the Texas Longhorns on Saturday and yelling at the Cowboys on Sunday. Carrie will be forever known for her laugh, which could be heard for miles, her funny catchphrases, her love of the color purple, and her passion for mermaids.

Carrie will be remembered as a thoughtful and compassionate woman who always put others before herself. She was a true friend to all and will be deeply missed.

We ask that you honor Carrie’s legacy by spending as much time as possible with your friends and loved ones; laughing, listening to your favorite music, traveling, and raising a Michelob Ultra for any reason. Also, pray for Ashley as she is retrained by Preston and Greyson to Carrie’s standards.

Please join us with joy in your heart to celebrate Carrie’s beautiful life and to remember the good times on November 18, 2023 from 12pm – 3pm at Ceremony Brewing, 10441 Packinghouse Lane, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
