Carl Young, beloved husband of Diane DuChon Young, passed peacefully on Friday, October 20, at home. Born in Electra, Texas, he was the son of the late Ruby and Perry Young and brother to the late Patricia Novak. He went to Bowie High School, Decatur Baptist Junior College, and then to Howard Payne University for his undergraduate degree. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical, Community, and Social Psychology from Peabody College/Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. …
