Kathy Smith
1992, Harris Tree Farm - Harris Family Farm, Blair Road, Pollock Pines, CA, USA
At one of the Blair Family reunions, Bryan had brought his fishing pole and a couple extras, hoping for an opportunity to go fishing.  Cousin Jane suggested the irrigation canal running through the property across the road.  So Bryan asked all the little kids if they wanted to go fishing.  They all jumped at the chance, so off they went, Bryan leading a whole line of little boys, laughing and chattering happily up the hill.  They were gone for a couple of hours, coming back with no fish but big smiles and lots of laughter, one of those happy memories that would stay with them forever.  Thank you Bryan for creating wonderful memories for so many people.

Bryan was a great dad and friend. We still have a jar of hand-forged nails from one of many hikes he took with Kendall, Logan and Brent along the Flume Trail. He loved this area and its history and was so generous with sharing his knowledge and time.
