I had the honor of meeting Uncle Bong and Auntie Maria for the first time in 2021 at Mama’s house. Some of my fondest memories with him were made during our Quiambao Family trip to Hawaii in 2024, where we shared so much laughter and joy. Uncle Bong had a special way of lightening the mood with his dad jokes, and he was always incredibly welcoming and kind to me. When I think of Uncle Bong, I see strength and the true embodiment of what a father, husband, son, and friend should be. His deep love and protectiveness for his family were unmistakable. He built such a strong foundation for his family—one that I hope to emulate for my own someday. I will continue to lead with the love Uncle Bong showed, in honor of his memory. Now, he is reunited with Papa. Through God’s mercy, may his soul rest in peace.

Dearest Quiambao Family,

Please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Grief, especially anticipated grief, can feel like an overwhelming journey, one that truly can only be taken one day at a time. Please know that you are deeply surrounded by love, care, and support during this tender and difficult time. May you find moments of comfort, strength, and peace, and may you always feel how much you are loved. Sending you so much love and a warm hug from afar.

Yours truly,

Kamea

I want to take a moment to share how deeply Bon has influenced me, our team, and everyone who worked in the Tharco design center.

For nearly a decade, I had the privilege of working alongside him. My career grew in parallel with his, and I learned so much from his guidance and example. His design talent was exceptional—truly unmatched—and he elevated the work of everyone around him.

Bon, please know that you will always be loved, respected, and remembered by the people who had the honor of working with you.

Our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. May cousin Bon’s memory forever be a source of strength and inspiration. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God wrap His loving arms around you and grant you peace and hope.

With love,

Tupaz Family - Bong, Shirley, Caitlyn, Christian & Calvin

Dear Bon and the Quiambao Family,

I want to take this moment to express how much Bon means to me, to our team, and to everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside him.

I have worked with Bon for over a decade, both as his manager and as a fellow designer, and throughout that time he has consistently set the standard for excellence. His work ethic, speed, efficiency, and pride in his work are exceptional. He cares deeply about doing things right, and his dedication has elevated our entire team. Bon is not only someone we rely on—he is someone we admire. I am grateful for his contributions and for the example he continues to set for all of us.

What stands out just as much as Bon’s talent is his strength of character. Over the years, as he has faced ongoing health challenges, he has done so with incredible composure, dignity, and perseverance. He has continued to show up, to contribute, and to provide for his family, never losing sight of what matters most. His strength and resolve have been a personal inspiration to me, and I know they have deeply impacted our entire team.

Bon speaks of his family often, always with pride and love. It is clear to everyone who knows him that his world revolves around you. To the Quiambao family, please know that Bon’s love for you is evident in everything he says and does. You are incredibly blessed to have him as a husband and father, just as we are incredibly fortunate to know him as a colleague and friend.

Bon, please know that you are deeply respected by this team. Your presence, your work, and the person you are have made a lasting impact on all of us. I will always carry your example with me, and I am grateful beyond words for the time we have shared.

With my deepest respect, gratitude, and care,

-Tony

I was truly blessed to have worked with Bon . He is a wonderful, compassionate person . Even though I was older than Bon I really looked up to him . By the conversation we had he was very proud of all his kids .  He would always help me out at work. I didn’t matter if he was busy . I worked in the estimating department and I worked  closely with design on projects. They had a set up where you would have to go to a certain person in the department he worked and even though it wasn’t his time I could always go to him and he would help me out without any hesitation  or fuss . That’s the kind of guy Bon is . My kids were roughly the same age as his kids . I would have school projects and I could always go to Bon to help me out . He would make signs , cut outs whatever I needed. We also commuted together for a little while. I suggest he take the Ace train and we would meet up at the Pleasanton station . I would drive us in from the station to work and we ride back at the end of the day . Like Bon he insisted on giving me money for the ride enough though I told him it was necessary. I just enjoyed his company.  Bon you are truly amazing person , I was blessed on this earth to spend the time we had together. Safe journey until we meet again .
While I didn't have many personal interactions with Bon, I was able to see his true character through his children who I went to school with in high school and some college too. I was able to see all of his and Maria's character, values, and beliefs strong in all of their beloved children. His son Bo was one of my closest and most treasured friends in high school and I had many positive and loving interactions with the whole family. I wish, hope, and pray that Bon is able to find peace in Hawaii and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. All my love.    -Aydan ❤️
Bon was a gentle spirit and hard worker.  He was always willing to help others.  He was fun to work with and will remember his smile.
Some of us knew him as “Fabio” at Tharco. Not only was he an awesome coworker who was easy to work with, but he also has a great sense of humor. Sometimes he just gives you that “smile” first then you know he’s about to say something funny! Bon, you are a blessing to us and to so many others for sure. I’m sorry you have suffered through such awful illness, but when the time comes you will be free of pain and will be in paradise. It’s a pleasure to have known you! 🤗 God bless and comfort your beautiful family💕
My condolences to Bon's family. I meet him at his weeding renewal, i was admire the love he had to his wife and family and that kind of love will never dies🙏 Praying for the family!

My deepest condolences to Uncle Bon’s family.

I first met Uncle when they visited the Philippines, and even before that, I had already heard so many warm and loving things about his family from Lola Clarita, his mother-in-law. Those words turned out to be true in every way.

I will never forget the time when Uncle and my Aunt did not hesitate to help me while I was struggling in the hospital. That kindness stayed with me. Looking back on my moments with Uncle, I can truly say he was a gentle and devoted father to my cousins, and a loving, faithful husband to my Aunt. It was clear in the way he loved that he built a family rooted in care, patience, and quiet strength.

The family he raised is the kind of love many of us hope to have someday. Even though we did not know each other for a very long time, I am deeply grateful that I met him and that he was a part of our family. His presence, his kindness, and his love will always remain with us.

You are forever in our hearts and will be dearly missed.

Hugs and prayers. 🕊️‎ Sincerely, ‎‎ Lavigne

To the Quiambao family,

I still remember the first time I met you all at the PSC picnic, many years ago. Bon was so proud of his family and it was immediately clear how much he loved you guys. I wish I had spent more time getting to know him, as our relationship was largely in passing and consisted mostly of casual small talk around the office. But he would always bring up his kids, what they were up to, and how they were doing.

I have the utmost respect for him and how he treated others; I only wish I had half the heart that he has. Please know that every single person he worked with has nothing but the utmost love and admiration for Bon and we're all better people for having known him. I will always remember him as the big, strong, and gentle soul he was when I first met him.

Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Reed

String Cheese had his very first instance of zoomies because of dad. Dad hid behind the pillar in the kitchen and played peek-a-boo with Cheese. Cheese was so happy that he started running laps around the coffee table and doubling back to try and scare dad. Ever since this moment, Cheese loves to run laps and play hide and seek with his pawrents.
