My heart is heavy with grief as I say goodbye to an incredible woman who left an indelible mark on my life. My lovely auntie, your kindness, love, and guidance will forever be cherished. You may be gone, but your memory and legacy will live on in my heart. Rest in peace my auntie Betty 🙏🏿

Dear Esther, my heart breaks for you and your family.  I'm so sorry I didn't have a chance to meet your mother, yet I came to know her through you.  I am confident that you filled your mother with love and pride.  Keep your fond memories close, to comfort you and to bring a smile when you need it most.

Mama Esther, your sudden departure still seems like a dream and we have been very reluctant to refer to you in the past tense. You were so full of life that any one who has met you will feel lost on hearing the sad news of your unexpected absence from this side of the divide at this time.

We testify and are consoled that you lived a full life of love for and faith in God, compassion for others and care for your family. All these qualify you for a place in the bosom of your creator.

May the memories of the good times spent together give your girls, siblings and acquaintances the fortitude to bear this temporary separation. There is a meeting place again at the bosom of The Lord.
