Barbara Frances Pidgeon 

February 14, 1950 – September 2, 2022

We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Pidgeon on September 2, 2022 at the age of 72. Barbara passed away surrounded by loved ones after a battle with cancer.

Barbara had a successful career in graphic design. She held a Masters Degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and she was the design manager and creative director for the internal creative services group at Roche Pharmaceuticals US for more than 15 years. She loved art and spent many hours in the Met and MoMA and traveling to see art museums around the world. In retirement she took up pastels and pottery and created many beautiful pieces. She was certified as a Master Gardener through the Rutgers Cooperative Extension and spent time volunteering at the Laurelwood Arboretum while she lived in Little Falls, NJ. Barbara loved nature and gardening, hiking, biking, traveling, reading and watching her favorite TV shows, but her greatest joys in life were her daughter Sarah and her grandson Wesley.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Sarah Pidgeon and son-in-law Travis Simon, and grandson Wesley and her loving friends and family.
