In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Tahoe Institute for Natural Science or Hands on Sign Interpreted Performances.

Background

If you would like to make a donation in Audrey's name, any organization that you support would be a wonderful choice.

Beyond that there are two programs that would be great choices:

Birding was a big part of Audrey and Gordon's life during their retirement, and Lynn Harriman has been a close friend of the Shirts Family her entire life. Audrey had been following Lynn's Tahoe Institute for Natural Science Bird-A-Thon Fundraising hikes throughout the summer, and it would make her very happy to add some extra support to Lynn's efforts.

The TOLA (Theater Offers a Lifetime of Adventure) Program was established by Audrey's son Claude in the 1990's to honor his late partner Jim Tola. It creates opportunities for families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing members to enjoy free or discounted performances at the New Victory Theater in New York City.

All contributions made to Hands on Sign Interpreted Performances through Ever Loved will be sent with the designation, “The TOLA Program”, at Paula Foley and Len Wesley Shirts's request.
Paula and Len Wesley have chosen to not publicly show donations on this site.
