Dear Family of Gene's from his SAG-AFTRA Radio Players Family:

Gene join the SAG-AFTRA Radio Players in 2012. He performed in 7 radio staged plays between 2012 and 2015. When he joined the SAG-AFTRA Senior Committee, he was immediately recognized as a warm friendly man and we soon realized he brought that warmth to the microphone. All but one of the seven shows, Gene was an excellent announcer as our group performed the Golden Age of Radio programs. We kept trying to reach out in past years, but sadly were not able connect. It is with great affection that we extend our gratitude that Gene was in our radio family.  

I’m happy he lived on this planet for 96 years. He was really a great and kind man. I have many memories hanging out and getting in trouble with Gene and Jeff. Many special memories.

what a great surgeon I was admire and learn so much from Gene, a great teacher and a great surgeon. that I learned a lot through his teaching. He was a great American, to me he was a symbol of a good honest skilled surgeon with a lot of love and care for his patients
