My love for gardening was inspired by Armando. I remember the time when Armando and Alice invited us for lunch and showed off Armando's pride and joy - his garden. They gave us some plant cuttings and even shared lessons on how to propagate plants from cuttings and how they nurtured and treated them like their patients.
Alice, our thoughts and prayers are with you, your children and grandchildren during this most difficult time. Be strong.
Our heartfelt sympathy. God bless you and your family.

My sincere condolences to Alice and to all the members of her and Ando's family for the loss of their loved one, Ando.

Certainly we, as Class 70 will always miss Ando's presence in our future gatherings, big or small. My most memorable time with him was on our reunion which was held in San Francisco. He just started his love of piano at that time. He entertained our class on the piano for a good long time. I hummed most of the songs and pieces of classical music and he expertly played them. He and I both felt at that time that it was a good thing.

May God bless you and your beautiful family, Alice. Continue to be strong, as you have always been.

Armando we’re so sorry that you have to leave us so soon.
We lost a “sensational & passionate cousin in law”who told us so many funny jokes and shared his family’s and travel experiences with so much enthusiasm, laughter & joy. We’ll miss that !!! So long, our prayers are with you and sympathy to those left behind.

I remember when we used to go to Chuck E. Cheese together. We would play games and then go to In In Out to get burgers and fries. We always had so much fun together.

Lolo was, and will always be an amazing person. Whether it was from eating bagels with cream cheese together, or when we played tickle monster, he always made me laugh and smile. Lolo was a good piano player too. I still remember sitting in the living room with him while he taught me how to play the chopsticks song on the piano. I would dance around with my siblings when he played his beautiful music. He was also an amazing gardener, and the plants he cared for always were so beautiful and healthy. I remember when Lolo and Lola taught me how to wrap lumpia, which is one of my favorite foods. Lolo was an amazing cook, and he always made the best food. If I ever get the chance to see Lolo and talk to him again, I would give him a big hug and tell him how much I love him and that I’m so grateful that I got to know him. When I’m older and I look back on my childhood, I’m sure that I’ll remember all of the good memories I had together with Lolo, and how he always knew how to put a smile on my face. So I hope that wherever he is now, he is happy and smiling too.
We were so devastated upon learning this very sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Alice and family. May he Rest In Peace with our Lord🙏🏻

Sending Alice and her family my deepest sympathy for the sudden loss of Armando, may you have the strength to bear your sorrow, and please reach out to me as a friend if you need to talk or need any assistance, Take care and prayers for Armando may he rest in peace
My memories about my father in-law Armando Lolo was that he was a genuine gentleman. He was fully authentic and showed great concern for the things he cared about -- his devotion as a physician caring for the ill, his skill with working with his hands at home or in the garden, and his love for family. He always had wonderful stories to tell. I loved his clinical stories and looked forward to his sharing of his tales from his experiences and new projects. His love for gardening was contagious. He had the green thumb that made plants and trees grew so beautifully. I just wish I could grow plants half as well as he did. Whenever he was around there was always delicious food that bought us together. I will miss him.
