Arlene was beauty and serenity. She shared these qualities  with all who met her but especially with us who called her a dear dear friend.  She will always be a part of me and I will always be able to smile at the memories of her. 

Deepest sympathy to Mario and Family 

We were so sorry to hear of Arlene’s illness, and now her passing. As early residents of GL in Williamsburg, we knew both Arlene and Mario in several groups. 

For me, Arlene was my walking and Book Club buddy. I recently told another walking buddy that whenever I walk by the Padilla’s home, I still want to pause and wait for Arlene to come out and join me. 

We were sad to see them move, and sadder now, yet take relief she is at peace, returned to herself, and hanging out with those who had passed before her.

I am so sorry to hear about Arlene, she was very good friends with my Mother. I live in Florida, and when I would visit Williamsburg in the summer, it was always so nice to see Arlene and spend time with her.
