He loved helping with Girl Scouts .  From then on he loved doing scouting with boys.  I loved talking with him. He loved Betty so much and used to bring her birthday lunches and surprises to the courthouse.  He and my hubby lived to chat.  I miss both of them so much.
Belated condolence's to the Young family.  We knew Tony from scouting where our sons progressed together.  I appreciate the care and leadership Tony provided as a scout leader.  You are missed.
Betty, and the Boys, our deepest condolence to you all in your loss. Tony was a great leader by example, and his friendship always made me a better man. “Iron Sharpens Iron”-Proverbs 27:17. So as iron sharpens iron, so does one good man have the same impact on other men. Tony was that man, and my sons benefited greatly from his leadership in BSA. May GOD bless his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed.

Condolences to all your loved ones. May you find peace and comfort during these difficult times.

My husband and I first met Tony at church on Fort Hood back in 2005. We used to sit next to Tony and Betty every Sunday during service. Tony was the go-to guy for grilling during church events and he made the most delicious mashed potatoes for our Thanksgiving meal at church.

Ray and Tony would always talk about football, geocaching, and Boy Scouts. Tony loved talking about his family and grandkids - he was so proud of them. He was a great friend and we will definitely miss him.

Mr. Young was a man amongst men. He truly embodied love and respect for every one of us Scouts he look care of. He had an ability to take obnoxious pre-teens and turn them into men of character. I know that I am a better man for having been under his wing. Somehow, he was one of those that was supposed to live forever. Rest easy, sir.
I have just seen this notice and am so very very sorry to hear of Tony’s passing.  He was a wonderful dad and grandpa in addition to being such a loving supportive husband to Betty, an incredible cook, and a tremendous asset to scouting.  You all have such wonderful memories to share and enjoy.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you move thru this sad time.  His love and God’s grace will support and sustain all of you.
I am so sorry for your loss, Betty.  I wish you and your family every blessing as you navigate through this tragedy.
Wishing you comfort and peace during this difficult time to the family.

When we were kids, we would go to Memorial Field and play "Catch a fly, you're up". One time Tony hit a ball over the fence, I was never more impressed with my big brother.
Tony and I served scouting in Leon Valley for many years. However, we first got to know each other running the ranges for the annual cub scout day camps. His BB gun range was normally set up next to my archery rain. I also used to occasionally at Sam's Club, when he was still working. He always had a smile and I enjoyed hanging out with him. He will be missed by a lot of us that work in Scouting with him.

I knew Tony from geocaching and remember seeing his TonyBlueFox signature on lots of geocaches. He will be missed.
