I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Amber. She was obviously an incredibly strong and inspiring woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. Her strength and resilience were truly remarkable.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
I am so heartbroken to know you're no longer with us! I have thuought of you regularly throughut the years. I wanted to share this photo of our combined team building event at Top Golf back in 2022. Although Amber wanted so much to be there with us, she was there in spirit. She tried so hard making sure this event happened no matter the cost. We actually used this event to pray for Amber and her health as we signed many cards to send her weekly. We also all received breast cancer bracelets to let her know we are all in this with her. She couldn't wait to see these photos the next day. We surely missed her smile and beautiful presence while playing a few rounds of golf. I will forever be honored to have supported Amber in her time here at Sandia being her assistant. She was the light of any team. She was such a great person inside and out. Amber was there for me not only professionally, but personally (as she was to many). Sent comforting gifts/flowers in my families time of loss/need. I cannot imagine the pain you all must be going through. Her girls and husband (and pups) were her world. I am sending my most heartfelt prayers and comfort to her daughters, husband and family. I will always remember to have 'walking 1:1's'. I hope you are having all the golden pride burritos your kind heart can handle. Forever #AmberStrong
Kenny, Rylie, Quinn, and Family, I am sorry for your loss. I worked alongside Amber at SNL and there was nobody that was more prepared then she was. As a remote staff member she set the bar really high for how remote staff members should engage. Amber was a very special human who touched lots of people. You all did a great job describing her. I remember her being a kind heart with lots of passion. When she had an idea you could bank on it being executed. I appreciated her providing me with pages and pages of restaurant tips and things to do in Reno/Tahoe when my daughter had volleyball tournaments in Reno. There are lots of aching hearts out there for Amber but none can hurt as much as yours, so sorry for your loss and know that Amber was loved by many.
Amber was truly beautiful inside and out. Her kindness, grace, and radiant smile touched so many lives. It’s hard to believe someone so full of light is gone so soon, but her warmth and love will be remembered always.
