Condolences to the family of Alice Elliott.  I met her through Sophia. Completely understanding why she trusted Mr. and Mrs. Elliott with her child.  They were so kind and wise.  My son went with them and Kira a few times. The garden had the best collard greens ever.  Ms Alice was very classy.  It’s a blessing to have experienced this wonderful couple. My son was sad to hear of her passing.  I found out they were from Michigan like myself.  Rest well Ms Alyce, your works speak volumes for you

Our dear sister Alyce Elliott meant a great deal to the LifeSpring Adult Bible Fellowship at The Shepherd's Church in Cary, NC. Her faithfulness in attending our church and class and her beautiful smile and kind personality brought all of us great joy! We love our sister in Christ and despite our grief, we are confident she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. We are grateful to Lauri for bringing her each week to our church and for keeping us informed during Alyce's slowly declining health so that we could pray. All of us honor the memory of our sister Alyce Elliott.

Lauri, know that we are praying with and for you during this time of grief. As I reflect on the close relationship between our parents and each other, I am grateful that enduring love abounds regardless of distance. Our parents (Alyce/Elmer and Barbara/Richard) have passed along a legacy of service, hospitality, love, and friendship. Thank you for sharing your parents with us as our godparents, along with countless others who have been positively impacted by their example of servant leadership. Know that we love you deeply and pray that God’s strength for today will continue in the days ahead. Lovingly, Tamara, Marla, Richard, and Brad Baldwin.

Alyce with a “y” is how we remember Ms. Alyce! She often sat behind my husband and me in a reserved space for her during the 9:30 service. She loved the worship, the people, and God’s Word. She will be missed. We rejoice knowing she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Our condolences to you Laura. Thank you for being so faithful in making sure your mother could make it to service.  You are in our prayers.

Sending my condolences to Lauri, may God give you strength  and comfort during this time.  Aunt Alyce will be missed.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to know Ms. Alyce Elliott.  Her presence will be missed at the Shepherd's Church.  I extend my condolences to Lauri and the  entire family.  I pray the Lord surround you with His love and grant you His peace.

My brothers,  sister and I all affectionately called this beautiful soul Aunt Alyce. She was our next door neighbor when we lived in Ann Arbor, MI. We have so many memories of the loved she showed our family daily. She was always giving and never asked for anything in return. She gave you food, she gave you time, she gave you advice, she gave you jobs, she  gave you gifts, she gave you entertainment, and most  importantly she gave you her love. Heaven is receiving a true servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. May we all remember to give of ourselves as she always did. Prayers to all who will miss her lovely spirit.

My mom, and my father, continued to support the work I did in Africa. Her very last gift will bring life to millions of people in Africa. My parents sacrificed much to support the work. I only wish they could have seen the fruit of their love and sacrifice. My mom was all about love, sharing, and helping others. They will be remembered even beyond my lifetime. Where God allows, people will know the people that sacrificed to help them without expecting anything back because my parents loved God and loved people.
Until the last year of her life, mom continued to give of herself. She continued to help those around her in comfort and prayer. So often, people could see someone in her with which they could share their deep hurts and disappointments.
Because of COVID and my father's death, mom had not been to visit family for almost five years. For her birthday, we were able to travel to Michigan and celebrate her 83rd birthday with family and friends. A good number of people came leaving her with a significant memory. She was very touched by all of this.
