It was my brother's birthday, and it also coincided with my college graduation. He attended the celebration with Lolo Jim and had small talks with me. I was astounded by the way he thinks, particularly as he reminisced about his profession when he was younger. He expressed immense pride in my achievements. Even in the past, he consistently showcased how he was so proud of me by letting people know about my chess-playing skills.
During our last encounter at Ria Mae's Bar and Resort, the memory is etched in my mind as a truly memorable one. It was our last meeting, and he introduced me to his friend, Dr. De Jesus, who shares a passion for chess and again, he shows his friend how he was so proud of me. Despite our infrequent meetings, he consistently makes me feel like a great person. My dear Lolo, you are the one who is great. Your character is reflected in how you touch the lives of others. You will forever remain in our hearts, Lolo Recto.
