Mother Adele was really a woman of prayer. I always remember her always showing up for prayer at church every Sunday morning. There would even be times she would walk to church!! She was always spiritually in tune with the Holy Spirit. She took her walk with God very serious and it was evident in her life. Really miss her!!!!

Ms. Adeline and I met at RNCC in 2013 and connected rather quickly. She graced me with her kindness, compassion, generosity, and joyful spirit. I am blessed by having the opportunity to know her. I am thankful for her support during my house warming , my son’s graduation and the loss of my mother! I will miss sharing our weekends together, having conversation by phone, shopping and searching for different restaurants to try.  The memories that we’ve shared  will never be forgotten.  Latoya — with Ms. Adeline and Tobias celebrating an achievement

I remember visiting Grandma's house in North Carolina during our Team MACK roadtrip. That evening with Kashay's family and the hospitality and warmth of her family gathering  (plus the delicious dinner) was one of the highlights of that entire summer.

I was looking for photos but unfortunately, don't have one.  Instead, I found this journal entry summarizing that night. "Visited Kashay's family and ate dinner and got to hear stories. Such a lovely experience. Everyone was welcoming and we heard some powerful stories. Kashay's grandma was on her way to the twin towers on 9/11. She didn't see them but could hear them fall. Kashay's stepdad was on the roof painting and saw the second tower hit by the plane. Kashay's stepdad was a backup dancer for Rob Base."

Grandma was a wonderful woman with a big heart and she will be missed. I'm grateful for the time I was able to spend with her. Love, Mark
