Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May God take all the glory for this life for Dotun belongs to Him . May he rest in peace. Amen
Dotman,  I remember how you used to encourage us in 100 level PSSF days, telling us we could always achieve 7 points! You were truly an inspiration to us as you were a 7 pointer yourself! You then became the head of school of the word at VCF. What a blessing you were to us in those days! The last time we saw you was when Dipo and I came to visit you in Scotland. You took us out to  watch chronicles of Narnia, Kelvingrove museum  and then for a lovely meal, all of which you paid for. What a generous  man you were! Thank you for giving yourself to be a blessing. I pray Dami, your children and the rest of your family will be eternally comforted by the Holy Spirit. We will miss you greatly. Rest on in the bosom of our Heavenly Father till we meet again dear brother!

Dotman, you were an amiable and warm hearted colleague right from our days in PSSF /Med School in UI. You had a way of drawing people into your fold and giving them words of encouragement, for these,  I appreciate you.

I was saddened by the news of your passing.  You've left a lasting legacy of  beautiful memories with everyone who interacted with you. You'll be missed.

May you rest easy. May your family have the strength to cope with your absence.

Rest in peace Dotman.

Never in a million years would I have thought I’d be writing a tribute for Dotun, and even now, words still fail me. When I think back to when I met Dotun, I can’t remember the exact day. Not because it wasn’t memorable, but because it feels like I’ve known Dotun all my life. Dotun was a bubbly, friendly, and entertaining person. He always had some gist or the other that would captivate me, knowing how much I loved hearing stories. When I picture Dotun, I vividly remember his mannerisms, the outings we all attended as couples (particularly Basketmouth's Valentine's show), the countless parties, visits, and conversations we shared.

Dotun's selflessness and thoughtfulness knew no bounds, and he was always present and even instrumental in some of the decisions we've made in our family. To say that Dotun will be missed is an understatement. His passing has left a huge vacuum in our lives, and he will always be remembered fondly.

Dami, Deolu, and Dara, my prayer is for God to give you all the strength and grace to go through this period, and for His grace, mercy, and protection to be upon each one of you always. You all are loved.

We are deeply shocked and saddened by this heartbreaking news. Dr. Dotun Ajibade's exceptional warmth and personality have left a lasting impact on us. The memories of the first get-together at his house will forever be cherished. We appreciate the wisdom and insights he shared during our short four years of friendship. His warm hugs, infectious smiles, and subtle nods at events and parties will be greatly missed.

Dammy, Deolu, Dara, and the entire family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God provide you with comfort and strength.

With heartfelt condolences,

Kunbi & Yemi

We met Dotun for the first time in 2021, and from our interactions with him, he was a gentleman and very dedicated to his family. We pray that God will grant his family the comfort and inner peace during this difficult time.
Sending our love to the entire family. Though I only knew Dotun for short time, him impact was meaningful! I will miss his smile and laugh around the basketball court. ❤️❤️
I am truly saddened to hear this news.  My family was lucky enough to have been blessed with Dr Ajibade as our Doctor.   I will forever me grateful for his kindness, professionalism and most of all care.   Sending his family strength and love during this most difficult time.
The many smiles I saw on Dami’s face is enough to tell how amazing a husband and father you were. You were so warm and very friendly. This is still a shock. I pray that the lord will comfort your loved ones. Rest in peace Dotun

Dear Dami, Adalowa and Dara,

My sincerest condolences for you at this time. You have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.

Dami, Deolu and Dara, I am  truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that Dotun was not only a good Christian( with a scripture for every situation) but also a genuinely good person. His kindness and compassion touched many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire us. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding be with you during this difficult time.

Egbon, thank you for sharing of your precious time and wisdom in the course of the last few years. You were graceful, unwavering in faith and seasoned in speech.

As God’s ambassador, the world is a better place because of you and I pray Dami, Deolu and Dara draw strength from this daily.

I am continuously humbled by your lessons of life and for showing us a more excellent way and may God in His mercies, grant grace to run like you; good and faithful servant.

At this time, I look for words but cannot find enough as memories across decades keep flooding my mind from UI/ PSSF/ NCCMDS/VCF/SBF/Med School/UK/Canada.

Adedotun, you were kind hearted, gentle giant, faith general, a love being, a caring friend, wise brother, excellent professional, a minister of the gospel indeed, songs, drama and teaching.

Your personality exuded grace and confidence. Always filled with joy and having a reason to be grateful.

Adedotun, you inspired me and many, conquered continents, walked fearlessly in the face of adversity and kept the faith.

Your presence will be missed but you will remain in our hearts. I paty for comfort and strength for your family and friends. I know for a fact that you now with the Father God.

Till we meet at the Father's feet my friend and brother.

Sleep well.

We are deeply saddened and shocked by this news.  We only knew Dotun for a short time as my son was on Ade's basketball team but despite this, he left a BIG impression. During those brief encounters at practices and games his positivity, gratitude, and happiness shone through like rays of sunshine. His big smile and laughs will be missed! We are sending peace and love to all the family and friends affected by this tragic loss. He touched the lives of many ♥️💗.

Sad to hear about the young doctor.

May his soul rest in perfect peace. God will be with the young family left

behind. Amen.

Dotman, I have struggled to write because writing  means I have accepted this heart breaking loss, I said something during your 40th birthday  "blood makes us related but relationship makes us family" you were my family, a brother and a half, I couldn't have asked more of a brother, couldn't have asked more of a friend.

Much as I grieve, I know you are in a better place, your unflinching and unshakeable faith in the father when we saw in February is testament to that, rest in peace my brother, till we meet again....... We will meet again.

My sincere condolences to all the family.  I am shocked and saddened by this news.  He was my personal Doctor;  as a fellow MD/GP I felt secure and honored to be his patient.  When I first met him, I told my wife:  "If you were to rate him on a scale of ten-- I give him an eleven"!  Truly an excellent Doctor and human being.  He will be sorely missed by all, I am sure.

My sincere condolences to Dotun’s entire family and friends. May the good Lord comfort us all in the way only he can and especially his wife Dami and children.

I first met Dotun way back in 1994 during JAMB lessons then we attended same medical school.

His laughter was one of a kind  and would be missed & always remembered. His legacy lives on in the hearts he touched and in his beautiful children Adeoluwa and Dara.

Praying for Peace, strength and healing as we all come to terms with this profound loss.

RIP dear friend…..Sun re o.

Oh dear! This is shocking news!! Just heard today!! Feels so unreal! Dotun, you are a fine gentleman, a lover and pursuer of God. Gentle and cautious in speech and deed. Caring deeply for humanity! I salute your impact to this world and know that it will keep lighting up hearts for God. I pray for grace for your immediate family and we the extended family and friends. Your LIGHT burns on eternally. Amen.  Adeyinka Dayo.
