Yvonne Catherine (Estrada) Thorne, was born November 12, 1965, in Riverside, California to her parents John Estrada and Helen Estrada.

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share that Yvonne has passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2025 at 2:10 p.m., surrounded by her family.

A kind-hearted, free-spirited soul, she welcomed all without judgment and gave her love freely. Adventurous, generous, and courageous, she had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and cared for.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, caring sister, wonderful grandmother “Mimi”, and treasured friend. 

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Thorne, her two children, Amanda and Christian Thorne; her two grandchildren, Ellie and Michael Thorne; her parents, John and Helen Estrada; and her two sisters, Marisa Garcia and Rayna Magdaleno.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Risher Mortuary, 1316 W Whittier Blvd., Montebello, CA 90640 immediately followed by a dinner reception.
