Background
Bill battled a fast growing aggressive form of neuroendocrine carcinoma, a very rare form of cancer that is difficult to diagnose and researchers still don’t know definitive causes. To date the NETRF is the leading non-profit organization supporting NET research, worldwide. They fund research grants to scientists and research institutions that hopefully will discover cures and more effective treatments for neuroendocrine cancers. Additionally, they provide information, education, and support for patients and caregivers.
