With great sadness, we announce the passing of Rufus Boyett, who left us on April 23, 2024. He was born on May 23, 1935, and lived an incredibly full and vibrant life.
Rufus was predeceased by his parents, Harry W Boyett and Amy Rome-Roberts, his daughter Christine Boyett, his ex-wife Sonia Boyett, his nephew Ian Bewick, his sister Frances Bewick, and his step-father Rob Rome-Roberts. He is survived by his children Laurence Boyett, Janine Beckage, …

The family will hold a private service in Trinidad in November to honor Rufus and our Mother Sonia who passed in May 2020, and will work with Norwich University and friends to coordinate separate memorials at future dates to honor Rufus in the way in which he wished, with a toast and a good meal.
