Always, always Wendy and her family are on my mind. A wonderful gift to Music for Young Children and a wonderful gift to me. Hugs to all. The memories live on.
Wendy will be missed so much. I got to know Wendy as the BC Coordinator for Music for Young Children. I did my training under Wendy, and she truly was an inspiration as a teacher and as a person. I will always remember Wendy for her positive outlook on life, her deep love for her family, her laugh, and her giving us a “look” when we were slightly misbehaving (or making funny comments) at our BC MYC Fall meetings. Wendy will be missed by all the people that knew her, and most of all her family. My deepest condolences to her family.
I knew Wendy for a brief time when she taught me piano.  Unfortunately I couldn't continue due to a family crisis.  She was a genuinely nice person and a wonderful teacher.

I entered Wendy’s home with 2 little girls, knowing I wanted to expose them to music but did not know how.  She met us with such warmth and enthusiasm that we believed we could learn to play.  Despite our sense of awe for her talent , she taught the girls to dig deep and find their own talent  and I made a wonderful friend based on our shared experiences as mothers, wives, daughters and members of the community.  Helen Keller said “ keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows.” When I think of Wendy I will always see the sunshine.

Our condolences to the family!

Dear Rod and Family. We are so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. We only knew you both very briefly, but thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you in Sunscape. We both send our love and sympathy.

Our family was impacted greatly by Wendy's contribution to music not only for us but for our Cranbrook community.

She worked incredibly hard and expected that from her students, while keeping it fun.

We are so grateful to have known her, our hearts go out to her family.

Dear Betty, Rod, Penny, Gina and families - passing on our sympathy to you from all of the Saskatoon Burbridges - Joan, Brent, Wanda, Jeremy, Meagan and Connor. We can't imagine the struggle you have all endured over these past months. Wendy put up a great fight. She can rest and be at peace now; we hope that everyone of you finds peace soon. Love you!!!
I was sad to hear of Wendy's passing. I'm grateful for her contributions to MYC and my own teaching as well. She was a wonderful leader and a beautiful human being.🙏
I’m so sorry to hear about Wendy’s passing. I was one of the many MYC teachers who Wendy trained, inspired and encouraged over many years. She will be missed!

Wendy always was a happy, spirited individual.  I will always remember how she took great glee in repeatedly pummeling me at tether ball as a child.  A great person and an immense loss to all.  Our deepest condolences to family and friends.
