Background
Our hearts are broken as we share the sudden passing of Warren Jones, who left us unexpectedly at home due to natural causes related to heart disease. Warren's departure has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Warren was a deeply caring partner, father, grandfather, friend and steward of plants and animals- someone who found his greatest joy in the company of his family.
The sudden nature of his passing has brought unforeseen expenses, including costs for a celebration of life. In addition, taking time away from work to grieve and begin healing is something the family needs, but is not easy to manage financially as many of the family members do not receive paid time off.
If you are able, any contribution- no matter the size- will make a meaningful difference. Your support will go directly toward helping the family cover memorial costs and giving them the space and time they need to process this loss and begin to heal.
The family is truly grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and memories shared by friends and community members. Warren was loved beyond measure, and his memory will continue to live on through his family and all of the natural beauty he so passionately cultivated in the form of gardens and landscaping.
Thank you for your compassion and support during this difficult time.
Lastly, any excess funds will be distributed to the current and future grandchildren for college savings and we're considering a way to support black heart health.
