Without a doubt Wally and Peppy were two of the sweetest people I have met in my travels. My days on 17 years of riding the Colorado 500 are some of the most important and memorable experiences in my life. Best wishes and prayers for their family and Janet and all the wonderful people I have been lucky enough to know thanks to Wally and the Colorado 500 family!

Mark Woodward

Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family.

Wally and Peppy were truly amazing people.

Gods Speed to them both!

1981, The Woodn Handle Ranch aka Dallenbach Ranch

Our hearts are saddened by the passing of Wally. God puts special people in your life for a reason. Our family was blessed to have Wally, Peppy and family in ours. The love they gave us will always be in our hearts. They gave us a place to live on the Ranch for several years. There we watched our kids grow up, Wally Jr, Colleen, Paul, Jacki and Angie. We spent many times at races, had dinners together, spent Christmases together, went to Pikes Peak, shopping in Denver, attended church and Bible studies together and much more. The Dallenbach kids grew up and went off to careers in racing. After college, Jacki and Angie both held their weddings on the Ranch. These memories will always be in our hearts. We were blessed to be family.

Our Heartfelt Condolences to the Family and Friends of Wally & Peppy!

May God Bless Them Both!

Thank you Wally for giving us women an unforgettable ride of a lifetime!  You will always be remembered!

Wally and Pep were local legends and will be greatly missed.....I enjoyed hanging out with them a few years ago in the garage/auto museum, sitting by the wood stove, and listening to the stories.  What a wonderful life and legacy.....

Godspeed Wally!

Sincerely,

John, and the team at Clearwater Construction Mgmt.
