Tracy's obituary
It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Tracy William Anderson. Born in 1952, Tracy passed peacefully at sunrise in his home surrounded by close family on June 29, 2025. He was a family man and a good friend to many and his loss will be felt deeply by those who knew and loved him.
Tracy is survived by his wife, Teresa (Teri) Anderson; his daughters, Megan Anderson Saunders and Nicole Anderson; his grandchildren, Caden Saunders, Sequoia Saunders, and Nova Bray; his sister, Andrea Ball; his brothers, Joel and Larry Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. In his passing Tracy joins his father, Arthur, and mother, Naomi Anderson.
Music played a significant role in his life. His favorites were Frank Zappa, Van Morrison, Gordon Lightfoot, and Jim Croce. Tracy was also highly creative; he enjoyed not only rebuilding classic cars but also creating music. His talents in lyric writing, singing, and playing harmonica were appreciated by many. Tracy enjoyed reading, particularly the works of author Louie L'Amour.
As friends and family who joined in his adventures can attest, Tracy enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and hunting. His favorite spots to unwind were Lake Shoecraft and Lake Entiat, where he worked to build an enduring legacy for his family.
In remembering Tracy and honoring his life, consider a charitable contribution in lieu of flowers. Suggested charities include "Fred Hutch Cancer Center", the "Prostate Cancer Research Institute" and the "Prostate Cancer Foundation". You may go directly to their websites:
