Born on December 1, 1942, Tom was 80 years old and is survived by his wife Rene Bury, his daughter Sarah Broaden, her husband Mike Broaden, and their daughter Addison Broaden, as well as his son Matt Bury, his wife Sonya Bury and their children Dalton Bury and Kinsley Bury.  Tom is also survived by his sister Sue Christopher, her husband Eddie Christopher, his brother John Bury, and Rene’s brother Barry Priemazon and his wife Paulette Priemazon. He also had cherished memories with his numerous nieces and nephews that will live on. Tom was preceded in death by his grandson Tommy Daniel Broaden and was looking forward to seeing him again.

Two of Tom's greatest accomplishments was his service in Vietnam and his contribution to the Hope Communities initiative in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, CO. Tom was also a devoted husband, a great dad (and Father-In-Law) and a loving grandfather.

Tom loved drinking a light beer and sharing stories with friends and family. In his own words: "I lived a good life."

To honor Tom's memory, a celebration of life ceremony will be held on September 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Columbine United Church.

Tom, you will always reside in the hearts of those who loved you. Welcome home.
