On Friday, December 16, 2022, Suki Shui Ki Leung — a loving and gifted daughter, sister, fiancée, and pug mom passed away at the age of 27 after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Sara and Joe, nephew Joaquin, fiancé Drew, parents Emily and Simon, and pug Bao.

Suki will be remembered for her giving nature as well as her love and enjoyment of spending time with her friends and family, especially Joaquin and Bao. Many of those who knew Suki have experienced her sweet, funny, joyful, and caring personality.

Suki was always willing to extend herself to help or enrich the lives of those around her. Suki grew up in both Hong Kong and Albany, California and her early exposure to various cultures contributed to one of her favorite pastimes of exploring new places via their cuisines. Some of her other favorite activities included shopping, unique crafting, DIY projects, and curating a comfortable home environment for Drew and Bao.

Suki graduated with distinction from California College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design in 2017. Suki’s hard work and determination lead her to roles at Industrial design Society of America (IDSA), Y Studios, New Need Industrial Design, Kiwi Co, and most recently Osmo Tangible Play where she continued to excel by applying her core personality traits in one of her favorite areas, working and playing with young children.

Suki’s passion for her family and friends, sense of humor, and honest way of approaching life are what her loved ones will miss most. Her family is hosting a private memorial at the Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary at 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530 on Friday, December 30, 2022.
