Steve worked just down the hall from me at 3M his friendliness and helpfulness were two of characteristics I remember most about Steve. He was good at what he did and also helped a number of student tech aides become better budding scientists. I will miss Steve and only have fond memories of all of our interactions over the years. My condolences to Deb and family…
Dear family of Stephen, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I only got a glimpse of the man he was (through the dental visits) I always enjoyed conversations with him, especially comparing our Northfield experiences. I am amazed at what an accomplished life he led which I learned through this beautiful tribute. May God comfort you all in the times to come, and bless you with wonderful memories.
It was a joy to spend time with you both. Deb and Steve's love for each other and their family overflowed. Steve is very missed. Love you, Deb

I am so sorry to hear about Steve-I had no idea he was going through such an awful struggle (your family as well, of course). I'll echo what others have said here, Steve was a warm and approachable man, so easy to converse with, and always interested in other people, and in life altogether. What a huge loss for us all.
Steve was a humble gentle man that loved to hear how you were doing. He was always a great listener. I had lunch with him, and we talked family. He was proud of his family. I enjoyed hearing about his work, but didn't understand most of what he did. Steve was smart! I also heard stories from Deb about him helping neighbors with their cars and not expecting any pay. He was a giving man. He will be missed but I will see him again in GLORY.
