Well first I'd like to say love and miss u very much. MY mother and Steve had a trailer at head lake in the kawartha lakes area . My trailer was about 30 minutes drive from head lake, I was at duck lake . Steve and my mom invited me over for dinner and I didn't go back to my trailer till the next day because they didn't want me to drink and drive and so we stayed up drinking till dinner the next day . Had a blast . Steve was a great step dad , I never called him that but I felt it in my heart . I do have more stories if anyone would like to hear them . Call me at 6477459608 or inbox me on Facebook messenger.  U can find me under James k. West .

We met, we dated, we danced, we had drinks

We fell in love, we were happy, we married, we started a family

Our daughters are among the most beautiful, smart, and confident women of the world

I will forever be grateful that you were their dad.

May you Rest in Peace Steve,

Very sad news my first close friend from high school always called me wilt. Steve was the first one in west Hill to discover van halen. I will never forget that Saturday morning that he slapped it on the turntable full blast of course and hearing that first guitar riff. We hit many parties in high school half of which I don ‘t remember and we always had a laugh about it the next day. He was best man at my wedding and I was his as well .Lots of crazy memories come to mind and I will keep those in my memory for ever. Rest in peace my friend don’t ever turn down the volume.

My condolences to Steves family.

I was hanging around with his next door neighbours the Young’s in my beginning teens and he hung out with us a bit. Mostly, he was my brother Bob’s good friend through their teens and twenties.

So sad to hear of his passing so young.

We grew up together, neighbors, sleep over , we were actually camping in 1972 listening on the radio to the Summit Series ,we’re on Romper Room together, I always got his hand me down skates and then we drifted apart….I’ve looked for him and asked around

God Bless you my friend

Graham

My deepest condolences to Steve's family and friends. I’m so sad to hear of Steve’s passing. Steve and I shared some amazing years chumming around in our early teenage years and high school… I have always cherished the memories we shared while Steve was learning and executing great sounds from his guitar and rambling  around in the Ford Fairlane…. Forever a piece of my heart.

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing.  He was our best man at our wedding.  I will always remember him playing his guitar with his friends in West Hill.  Please accept my condolences.
