I had the amazing pleasure getting to travel with Stacy the past few years. If I went some where she went with me. We traveled to the deserts of Arizona, the mountains of Carolina and the beaches of Georgia. She helped me through the loss of my sister and my father the past year. She was everything I needed at any given moment. My kids and I will cherish and deeply miss every trip, every moment, every laugh we've ever had with Stacy.

We want to express our deepest condolences to the Willis family. Stacy’s life exemplified love, compassion, and a strong faith for our Lord.

My favorite memory is from the family camping trip we all took when we were maybe late elementary/ early middle school age. We played cards in the cabin, and Aunt Stacy made some killer banana boat s’mores. But the memory that still makes me chuckle, is of her pleading to let Amanda, Becca, and I turn the paddle boat back toward the cliff edge so she could “pet the rock”! Aunt Stacy’s sense of humor and free spiritedness taught me that it is ok to be silly, even if I’m supposed to be the adult in charge.

Stacy was a funny loving person. She gave of herself and her time to anyone who needed her. We had so much fun at the little Sahara with her and David. She will be missed.

I can not express in words the sadness and sorrow I have had since the passing of Stacy. It has taken weeks to process. My heart breaks for David and the family. Having spent a many of years with them in scouts I know how strong a bond there is in that family. Stacy had a servants heart. She exuded Love, Joy, Patience, Kindness and understanding to everyone she interacted with. There is no way to gage the amount of influence Stacy had on the young men that came out of the scouting program in piedmont, But is safe to say that generations of families will reap the effects on of that influence. Her example to leaders and adults were equally as impressive. I always appreciated her wit and her ability to adapt to changing conditions. No matter what obstacle was thrown our way, she took it with a smile, a laugh and a lets get our hands dirty approach. She loved to see things through the eyes of the boys and enjoyed the comradery of the adult leaders. She was a constant by David's side and never shied away from doing whatever was needed to make an event successful. She was very proud our her children and grandchildren and talked about them often. I guess the greatest thing about Stacy was that she lived her faith and it showed. The fruit of the spirit was a bountiful full basket in her. She was a great mother, loving wife and a friend to all. Rest in peace my friend. Till we meet again...

I know how hard it must be.... my favorite memory of Stacy was her trying to teach me how to break eggs with one hand for the egg muffins on a camp out... now I didn’t get it... I remember her smile and telling me it generally only takes a couple of eggs to get it right... well... she took over cause I never got it ... she just smiled (her smile) and took over.... she was great!!!!!!!

I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Stacy's passing. Stacy had a servant spirit that was a blessing to every life she invested in and an infectious laugh that made her fun to be around. Our world is a more impoverished place! May the Lord's grace, comfort and peace be with you in abundance, David, and with your children and grandchildren.

She was like a second mom to me. I feel like I have had many moms and she was one of them.
