Background

Skyler's love of baseball started as a youngster playing the game and attending Angels baseball with his Grandpa and his family through the years. He absolutely loved the experiences which then expanded when he turned 18. By then he was hooked on the game and became an umpire and coach along with yearly trips with his Aunt Jane to see the Angels play in different stadiums around the country. With his entrepreneurially spirit and to share the love of the game, he started his own baseball club in 2018 called Sabertooth, a Southern California club focused on seasonal play not year-round to ensure the youth developed naturally with rest between seasons to be their best self for a lifetime. In 2025, he then added Lefty Elite, two teams of left-handed players from across the United States, where he gave opportunity for left-handed players to grow in the sport and not be designated to specific positions. Because of his focus on healthy, passion filled play for his teams, the family would gladly accept monetary contributions to be used toward after life expenses with remaining funds dedicated to the Skyler Miller Legacy Fund. The contributions will ensure his passion for the game of baseball lives on by supporting his athletes at Sabertooth and Lefty Elite to break down barriers and ensure equity of participation (eg. support for fees, travel, or gear). Your kindness and generosity in keeping Skyler's memory alive is greatly appreciated. Contribute   Right arrow
