Sharon's obituary
Sharon Lisa Lorenzini passed away on December 12, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 64. Lisa was born on July 29, 1960 in Hattiesburg, MS to Neil and Janet Woodruff. Lisa attended and graduated from the Mississippi University for Women, obtaining her Masters Degree in Education. Due to her love of teaching, Lisa was able to inspire kids of all ages to love learning the way she did. In 2008 Lisa decided to further her education and obtain a second Masters Degree in Library Sciences so she could bring her love of reading into the lives of the children she taught.
Lisa had the biggest heart and never met a stranger. She was passionate about making sure no child was without. She kept a bag of clothes, hair clips, hair ties, shoes, and toiletries with her at all times so that if a student needed it, she would have it for them. Her students loved and respected her, and as she would say, “They think of me as a grandma” which warmed her heart and just solidified her love and passion for teaching.
Lisa enjoyed being with her children but her grandchildren were her world. Spending summers with her grandchildren meant everything to her and boy did she spoil those babies (just to send them back home to their parents spoiled rotten). Lisa was the kindest, most gentle, and loving person you would ever meet, making every single person who crossed her path feel like family. She always told the best stories and had the best sense of humor. Her love and wisdom she instilled in others will never be forgotten. This isn’t goodbye mom, but see you in Heaven.
Lisa was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Janet and Neil Woodruff, and nephew Warren Latimer, survived by sisters Leigh (Joe) Upton, and Cheryl (Walt) Smith, brother Jimmy (Kim) Woodruff, sons Brian Adams, Brent (Crystal) Adams, Christopher Lorenzini, and daughter Danielle (Dustin) Burk, 7 Grand Children, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Lisa will be held at the Family Worship Center on January 11, 2024 in Las Vegas, NV.
