Family Reunion
I just wanna share over the last couple of years I got to know Sherry in bits and pieces. She was always beautiful, dressed lovely, make up and hair done, no matter what was going on. She was always caring, always warm, and always ready to chat and see how you were doing. She listened so attentively. She often would share stories of family gatherings, her love to cook for them, her concerns over everyone, and, of course, how things were going in the state of the country. I loved that she shared her thoughts and interests, and always had a good book in hand to read. Sherry shared one with me once and I really enjoyed reading it. It was on health.  I will miss her warm smile, and her attentive, beautiful eyes while I relayed what was going on in my life. She never knew a stranger. She would talk to people easily and always brightened our days. She will be missed. Hugs to everybody and I celebrate her magnificent life with you. I know the void is palpable, but you honor her with your lives, your words, and carrying on her great legacy.  She loved you all so much, and was so proud of her family. Blessings to each. Because of her strong faith, I know we will see her again. Sherry is a bright and beautiful soul!  ❤️

Years ago, while on site for some IT support, Sherry noticed I was hungry. She pulled back a stage door in the conference room we were in, to reveal a kitchenette that appeared to have been untouched since 1969. She started gathering ingredients from a fridge and quickly prepared a fresh stew. While the stew simmered, we chatted about her late husband and other family members who had accomplished great things. Despite the gap in age, we had such familiar tastes and respect for many of the same things in life that we hold dear. We enjoyed discussing similarities between our families and the brilliance with which the world has evolved into what we know as today. We ultimately had stew on a balcony and returned to our duties.

During my time with Sherry, one thing was overwhelmingly clear and apparent. Her devotion to her family was second to no one. She served her family in every sense of the word. Nearly everything she did in life was motivated by the desire to enable her family.

Our family is truly saddened to learn of Sherry’s passing. Sherry was a true friend always offering a helpful loving hand and making a difference in lives. I have so many fond memories of Sherry. For me personally, she co-hosted my 1986 bridal party, she loved my Mom Barbara, and Barbara loved her, she was always available for sage advice, and she was big hearted soul. Sherry was a steadfast caring individual that treated everyone like family. Her courage the past few years gives me great hope. She will be greatly missed forever. Love, Tedi, Debbie, Joel, and Hanna. XXOO

Sherry ……. How much love can someone have for friends and family?  She was filled with it, always giving and kind, the most generous person I have ever met.  Her love extended to the world, wanting the best politically and conservatively for all of us.

Sherry always asked me to spend the night at her beautiful home when I would visit. So gracious was she even when the cancer came and infected her life, always with open arms and smile.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she has reached the highest honor in heaven because I saw it in a vision. So don’t worry or fret about her, she is glorified. Just try to live by her example. An example so many of us got to experience.

We will always keep you in our hearts Sherry, just like you kept us in yours.

We love you.

With Love and Light,   Chanda

My deepest and sincere condolences to the Culver family and all those who love Sherry.

I am blessed and honored to have known Sherry as one of my dearest friends and as a second mom. She guided, loved and taught me so much.  Shery taught me grace and dignity, and compassion by example ...and how to be a lady.

Her loss will be felt deeply for my entire life. More importantly, her love and light will be remembered and cherished for the rest of my life.

❤️
