Our condolences for your unexpected loss. I looked up to Seth in many ways, but most admired him for how he always put his family first.
I am so heartbroken to hear about Seth's passing.  My heart goes out to Joanna, Owen, Sadie and all his loved ones. I am happy I was able to reconnect with him and meet his beautiful family earlier this year. The world has lost a truly inspirational, passionate, loving, amazing man. We will all miss you Seth.

We are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the pain you and your family must be going through. Sending you hugs and strength to heal.

Joanna,

Its been a long time since Boston. So sorry to hear about Seth. We had such a great time and run at LogMeIn. He was such a great person and one of the smartest guys I worked with. Learned a lot from him.

I can't imagine what you're dealing with but I know you will persevere. Please let me know if Patti or I can help in any way.

God bless,

Larry and Patti.

My heart goes out to Joanna, Owen, Sadie and all of Seth's friends and family. I was very lucky to have gotten to know Seth during our time working together at InVision. He was always approachable and kind. And on multiple occasions I got to see a twinkle in his eye when he'd come up with an idea or have a request for an event, such as the mechanical bull in Mexico... because, "why not!?". I appreciate that he liked to push the envelope. I had the thought to reach out to him last week.. I wish I would have followed that nudge. I have tons of wonderful photos of Seth during our years at InVision and would love to share them with his loved ones - please reach out and I can email you an album (sadiekshort@gmail.com). My most sincere and heartfelt condolences. He is gone too soon, and he certainly left a beautiful legacy.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for you and your family during this difficult time. It was with heavy heart that we heard about your recent loss of Seth, and we wanted to reach out and express our deepest condolences during such a difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. - FullStory Leadership Team
I only knew Seth for about a year, but in that time I was impressed by his ability be an effective executive while still being available, vulnerable, and empathetic to every employee in his org. He was one of the most positive people I have ever met and that energy was palpable whenever he was around. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of meeting Seth through Postal twice, once during our annual company kick-off and most recently in August to discuss a project.

The first words I wrote on my notepad at the company kick-off were Seth’s: “Prioritization should be painful.” This struck me not as just sound business advice, but as essential wisdom for living: to recognize that our time is precious and being a good steward of it involves making difficult choices about where, and with whom, to spend it.

In our meeting in August, Seth talked through his thought process on spotting opportunities for growth so quickly and efficiently that I had to close my eyes for part of the conversation just to keep pace with his thinking. I left the conversation not only energized about the future but also blown away by how brilliant and quick-witted he was.

In these interactions, Seth had quickly become—and continues—to be a role model for me.  A testament to the fact that even in just a brief span of time, he could be an incredibly bright light in the lives of others.

My deepest condolences to the Shaw family.

After a 4am start to the day, we still made sure to sit back and talk about life in our 4 hour flight delay. Something I’ll forever be thankful for in how much he taught me in such a short amount of time.
My heartfelt sympathies to Jo, Sadie, Owen and the family!

This is about Seth's style of support. It's all-in! It's 2011 : Self-supported Half Ironman 70.3 triathlon supporter

A 70.3 triathlon is a long endurance sports event, covering 70.3 miles by swimming, cycling, and running a half marathon at the end.

In preparation of an organized event on 2011, I wanted to know I could do the distance. Seth offered to help.

On the day, after all my swimming and cycling, Seth had suggested to run the distance of a half marathon with me to make sure I got it finished off. Just an amazing support in an endeavour that was for me transformational.

I have a feeling, that for Seth this was just how he rolled.
