My condolences to Sameer's family. I knew Sameer from the Council of Subspecialties and enjoyed working him. I respected him and appreciated him. I am sorry for his passing and the loss to all of us.
I was so sorry and saddened to learn of Sam's passing. I knew him in middle and high school and we were in the same circle of friends. He was always a good friend and a good person. I always remember him talking about wanting to be a doctor, even from that young age. Smart and kind. He will be missed. I am sorry for your loss.
I was [ how you felt ] when I heard the news of Sameer's passing.
I'm so sorry to hear the news of Dr. Dixit's passing. Even though I only saw him as a patient once at HSS, he left a lasting impression on me with his exceptional level of care, compassion, and deep love for his family. He was down-to-earth and kind, and I know will be deeply missed. May his memory be a blessing and inspiration. Sending much love to his family and friends.
I was so saddened to learn about Dr. Dixit's passing. He was my doctor for many years, and he had a special gift of letting me know he was taking care of me, but also speaking to me person to person.  His warmth, his sense of humor, and his sincere care and attention were part of every interaction we had together.  He made the world a better place just by being himself.
I am so very saddened and shocked to learn of Dr. Dixit's passing. I only knew his as a patient, and only with a few appointments, as a "common, boring patient, not a famous type". I would joke with him as I was the "common folk". He treated me with the most incredible kindness, and sensitivity, and guided me toward self-awareness and pushed me to take care of myself. above and beyond his role. I trusted him completely and only due to his encouragement, did I take the necessary steps to try to improve. He diagnosed and resolved my incredible pain and issues, I was so lucky to have been blessed to meet him. I wish his family every peace possible and all the gratitude there is. Dr. Dixit relieved chronic pain in my lower back during several procedures that ultimately stopped because I needed disc surgery. Each one made me highly anxious beforehand, but without fail Dr. Dixit put me at ease. As a result , they were always a lot less stressful thanks to his calm and caring demeanor as well as his obvious expertise, for which I remain deeply grateful.   I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I’d like to send my deepest  sympathy to his family.  He was a wonderful man and a terrific practitioner.
My deepest Condolences to the family. Dr. Dixit was my doctor at HSS and I always found him to be thoughtful, attentive, and an expert in his work. This is such a shock and I pray for strength and patience for his loved ones.
My deep condolences to the family on the loss of Dr. Dixit.  He was a compassionate doctor, and I feel grateful that he was my physician.
Wow, I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Dixit's passing. Dr. Dixit was so patient with this stubborn, injury-prone crazy runner. He helped me walk and then run again after a terrible pelvic stress fracture. His guidance, candor and care gave me back something I love. I am forever in his debt. May he rest in peace. His memory will live on in the lives of those he helped.
Dr. Dixit was my doctor for the past several years, from before, through, and following my diagnosis with RA.  I sent my father and daughter to him as well because, in addition to being an excellent physician, he was compassionate, thoughtful, and attentive. He was my lifeline during an incredibly painful and difficult  time for me physically, and helped me enormously. I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing and send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and children, his family, and his friends and colleagues - he had a lasting impact and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Dixit was a wonderful doctor.  My sincerest condolences to his family.

Dear Rachna,

We’re so sorry to hear of Samir’s passing. I remember a sweet, jovial cousin, who grew up to be a talented and thoughtful man. Sincerely, Pragya/Rinku and family.

I have such great memories of Sam. We worked together as team physicians for the New York Giants. Sam impressed me with his wonderful ability to connect with his patients - he had an uncanny ability to communicate well with all types of individuals, rapidly gaining their trust and confidence. Sam was the epitome of a warm, friendly, out-going physician. He always had a smile on his face, and was always positive and up-beat - Sam exuded positive energy all the time. He was highly respected and admired by all members of our hospital medical staff and the NY Giants medical staff for his wonderful clinical acumen and warm personality. He was an incredibly important member of the medical team.

As I came to know Sam it was clear that he was a very devoted father and husband. He told me about his love for his children and his family. He would speak about his family in glowing terms - they were clearly the light of his life.

I miss Sam greatly. He was a warm, loving, impressively humble, and highly intelligent man who was a fantastic colleague and friend.
