Background
Russ deeply loved his family and serving his community, shown through his years of dedication as a Navy veteran and a Paramedic. He also cherished Hoofbeats for Heroes, a nonprofit that provides equine therapy and community programs for service members, veterans, first responders, and their families at BLORA Ranch in Belton, Texas. His grandchildren continue that connection, often seen riding horses, mucking stalls, and sneaking treats to the animals. Contributions made in Russ’s honor will carry forward his legacy of service by supporting healing, connection, and hope for all of our Heroes.
