Background

The Cousteau Society has been exploring the seas, establishing protected areas for endangered species, and saving and protecting marine life for present and future generations since 1973. Robert has been a donor and a lifetime member since 1979.
Founded in 1888, The National Geographic Society has worked across 140 different countries to protect and preserve wildlife and the natural world both on land and in sea. Robert used to subscribe to the magazine on behalf of all of his sister's grandchildren, so that they could grow up reading and learning about science, history, and nature. He was a lifetime member of the National Geographic Society.
The Sierra Club Foundation has been working since 1960 to solve the climate crisis, protect public lands, develop community programs to get people outdoors more, fight for environmental and social justice, and shift the fossil fuel economy to renewable energy. Robert has also been supporting their efforts and conservation in general for many decades.
Thank you for considering making a donation in his memory to look after the planet he loved so dearly and we all call home.❤
