Officer Robert Alan Williams, 47, of North Palm Beach, FL went home to be with his Heavenly Father on August 16, 2021. Rob was born March 18th, 1974 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Rob and his sister Rhonda spent many happy years growing up in West Palm Beach where they enjoyed time together with their family, cousins and their St Bernards. Rob was baptized at the age of 11 at his childhood church home, First Christian Church of West Palm Beach. Later, the family moved to Jupiter, FL where Rob’s love for being on the water first began. He graduated from Jupiter High School where he played football and spent most of his time while not on the football field, boating, water skiing and knee boarding. Rob graduated police academy in 1996 and became a Police Officer with The Riviera Police Department in 1998. He spent 3 years in service there before beginning his career as a Police Officer for the West Palm Beach Police Department in June of 2001. During his 20 years as an officer in West Palm Beach, Rob received many commendations for his exceptional police work and service to the community as well as multiple life saving awards. Rob served in many different units within the department, however one of the highlights of Robs time spent as a police officer was the opportunity to incorporate his love for the water into his service by becoming a police diver and dive master. He was a part of the Police dive team and operated the police boat. Robs favorite place to be was always on the water both on and off duty and he spent most of his free time boating with his friends and family. Rob met his wife, Jaimee, in 2016 and they were married on August 12, 2017. Rob became a step dad to her two sons James and Jakob and his love for family and being a father became evident to all who knew him. Rob was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Helen Spear Mattison, His father, Robert Maurice Williams, and his brother Police Officer Peter “David” Ciaccio EOW 2-12-2015. Rob is survived by his wife, Jaimee Williams and their sons, James and Jakob Dean, his beloved parents, Jean Ciaccio and Peter Ciaccio, his sister Rhonda Smith, Brother in law, Terry Smith and his niece and nephew who he was so incredibly proud of and adored, Ashley and Zachary Smith. Rob is also survived by his Uncle Jerry White, Aunt Francis Gazza, Uncle Gene Gazza and his cousins, Jimmy White, Susan White and Jennifer Forrest Gazza. Rob loved his family and friends tremendously. He was a true friend to all who knew him and all who had the great pleasure to know him loved him. Rob lived his life to the fullest and understood how important it is to not take a single day for granted. Rob will be dearly missed. His life will always be remembered and serve as an inspiration to us all.
