Rebecca's obituary
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Rebecca Van Diest. Born on April 20, 1985, she found her rest on November 5, 2025. A shining beacon of kindness and compassion, Rebecca leaves behind a legacy of genuine warmth, undying love, and an entrepreneurial spirit that touched everyone who had the fortune to know her.
Rebecca’s life was a testament to her belief in continuous learning and exploration. This was evident not just in her guidance to others, but also in her personal and professional achievements. Her tenure as president of BNI and her success in Real Estate and Online Business stand as a testament to her dedication, tenacity, and constant quest for knowledge.
Rebecca embraced life and lived it to its fullest; her approach was passionately infectious. As a wife, sister, daughter, and friend, she cherished her relationships and nurtured them with selfless love and understanding. The intensity of her bonds with her loved ones is reflected in the profound grief of her surviving Husband, David VanDiest; Mother, Sandra Glew; Sister, Sherry DeLaTorre; Brother, Fred Fritzinger; and Sister, Michal Caro.
A Celebration of Life for Rebecca will be held on November 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Tierra De Lobos Winery in The Dalles, OR. The evening will be a testament to her life shared in stories, laughter, and tears, as she would have wished. It will be a time to rejoice in the love she spread and the lives she touched.
