Ray loved dogs! His most recent dog Dani was a rescue from PAWS. She was such a joy to him and our ambassador to new friendships in retirement in Suncadia.
Also on Ray's retirement bucket list was to volunteer at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary NW. This charity focuses on the long term care of primates that have been used in medical research. Contribute to Progressive Animal Welfare Society

About Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest
Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest is the only home for chimpanzees in Washington State. We currently care for 16 aging chimpanzees and four bovines who are all full of personality. Follow the daily blog (chimpsnw.org/blog) for the latest updates, pictures, and videos. Right now, supporters are helping the sanctuary expand for the Lucky Six chimpanzees who arrived in 2021, and we so appreciate donations as their lives grow!Want to stay updated?
