While we hadn’t seen each other since the mid ‘70’s, I think of you, Aunt Nancy, and Uncle Bill often. I still remember your apartment in Jackson Heights.

I’m so sorry to hear of Randy’s passing.

He was a really great , a guy with a very big heart.

My  condolences to all the Regner family.

"Doctor doctor please! Don't you know I'm going fast?!"

Brings tears to think of those old days when Mr. Regner would run upstairs and jump on the vocals with the boys holding down the instruments and we'd play for hours, Zeppelin, Sabbath, UFO, more Zeppelin. He'd clutch the mic stand when he was feeling it and go for the high notes, the man was ambitious! Eventually we performed Doctor Doctor live with him; I knew he was stoked to have his kids playing his favorite music with him. Mr. Regner had a big impact on my brother Abe and I growing up as a father figure. I admired his strength and his deep care as a father and husband to his family. I am very sad to hear of his passing, it was far too soon. I pray God brings strong arms around his beloved family- Mrs. Regner, Randy, Charles, Abby, and Meredith, his siblings, and other loved ones during this difficult time. 

Rest in peace and rock on Mr. Regner.

Randy always had a way of making the people he cared about feel special. Rest in peace my old and dear friend. May your family and friends always be comforted by your memory. God bless you. 

I was always amazed by Randy’s energy and his ability to “break it down” with our brokers.   I would drive us out to a broker meeting and our drive back would have us singing and talking about our love for the 80’s rock genre - and Randy playing air drums in my car.

He always spoke of his love for his family and friends and of course music.

 He was a passionate man that you truly derived energy from every time he was present in the room.

He was a colleague and then my friend and then my good friend.

I’ll miss you my friend…rock on!

I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of Randy’s passing. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Randy for the last 3 years and am lucky enough to have been able to call him not just a coworker, but a friend. His love for his family, his dedication, sense of humor, kindness and genuine personality will never be forgotten. Randy had a way of constantly brightening up any room he walked into with his energy and positive attitude. I am so thankful for the time we spent working together.  

To Carol, and the rest of the Regner family, my thoughts are prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

We are just devastated by the loss of Randy and our hearts go out to Carol and the kids. We first met when our boys were little, then the Regners moved to California but we rekindled our friendship when they returned back to NJ. Randy was always warm and friendly and we love all of the Regners.

We have many fond memories of backyard parties at their house, birthday parties at our house and Randy playing in the basement band with his kids. Their house was open and welcoming and filled with warmth. My fondest memories that will always be cherished by my son Ryan are the movie nights with “The chief”.  He was so loving towards all his kids friends and was one of my son’s favorite people.

He will be greatly missed by many but especially the Otero family…
