Randy (“Chief” to many of us) was one of a kind. I will always treasure the movie nights he championed—showing us classics like Blade Runner, Platoon, 12 Monkeys, and Rollerball—while digging into Hungry Man plates with him and Charles. The basement jam sessions, playing poker at the Jersey Shore while eating BBQ chicken (coated with “Chief’s Rub”), and his endless recounting of stories are some of my favorite childhood memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. Chief was an incredible man, and I’ll carry those memories of him forever.

Carol I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a kind gentle soul. He is resting in paradise now.

Mr. Randy Regner, I can hear is voicemail as I type this story.  I meet Randy in 2018 in person while working remotely for a company called Vindati.  I remember my first trip to the New York office and I needed a keycard to use the facilities, in true Randy fashion he pulled an extra for me to use out of a catch  drawer.  He  was lead/head/director of the Builders Risk department. To me he was a mentor; he trained me on the Builders Risk product and taught me life lessons along the way.

He will be greatly missed as a leader in the Insurance Industry, I’ve stayed in contact with him over the years, and on LinkedIn.

May he rest in peace and next time I’m in San Diego I’ll catch the sunset for him and say some prayers.

Mr. Randy  Regner… I’ll keep the wheel spinning.

I worked with Randy for a while and he was a very nice, kind man.  I’m very sorry for his families loss.
At Denison, Randy was the kind of brother you never forget — his long hair, love of Rush, or the way he crushed it on the drums.  He showed up for us when it mattered most.  Randy stepped up without hesitation, steadying the group with his calm presence and sharp sense of humor. He was unapologetically himself — humble, hilarious, and real — and somehow made everyone around him feel more grounded just by being there. His passing is an unexpected and painful loss, and we miss him more than he ever would have imagined we would.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I knew Randy from college and appreciated his kindness. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Tragic, awful news.  My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Regner family.  Hearing this felt like a gut-punch.  I have so many great memories of him and the family.  Seeing all these photos just reminds me how much I will miss him.  Rest in Peace my friend.
Horrible, sad, tragic news, Randy was my friend and fraternity brother: a real leader and formative force in my life and path, undoubtedly in many others.  I and other SAE’s from Denison are deeply saddened by his departure and we pray for healing and comfort for his family and all who Lee and loved him.  Phi Alpha and Godspeed, Randy.
My deepest condolences to the Regner family! I am deeply saddened for your loss!  He was one of the most genuine human beings around.  It was an honor to have worked with him in CA and to have met the family during an outing at Sea World!  I will cherish those memories and his 8 cups of black coffee before noon.  May you all find strength in each other during the rough days ahead.  RIP my friend!🙏🥺
It is with sincere sympathy and condolences that we extend to the entire Regner family. Barbara Mason, Kathy Fleegle and Pamela Peyton 1st cousins to Randy Regner.  May happy memories fill your hearts and God’s mercy and grace follow you in weeks and months to come.

Awe man, so sorry to the family. You’ll be missed Randy. Heaven has a new drummer.
