So sorry to hear of your loss. Nothing is harder than losing a son or daughter. Hope the educational fund will help others and perhaps they will learn about Peder. Bill and Joyce Martin

Peder, I remember the day your parents came home with you. We had such a fun gathering! The tears we all shed that day were happy ones, full of love, joy, and hope for you.
I remember babysitting you and your brothers and sister and some of our activities: playing nerf football in the living room, hide and seek, teaching you “eat your feet!” (Somewhere there is photo evidence) . I remember that happy face of yours when you got off the bus at the end of your driveway and how you would run to the front door.
I remember how you love your son, Thaden. And visiting the sport dome created on Southwood Drive so he could explore all kinds of activities.
I remember how diligently you took care of grandma and grandpa, and how fitting it is for you to rest with them. My tears are sad now for the loss of you. I’ll always remember my Peedi Cam. I love you and miss you!

I had the pleasure of working with Peder (eighteen years ago) and he was a very easy-going person. To this day he still comes to mind, from time to time, having left a lasting impression on me. He was unique. Funny too—unforgettable!! He did his job and was reliable. A real character, the loss of whom is truly tragic. R.I.P.

Peder was a great guy. He was my roommate in Hibbing. He was the one who had to break the news of my grandmothers passing to me. I’ll never forget how worried he was about me. I always hoped I would run into him again but I never did. Rest easy Dubes.

It is with heavy heart to hear of Peder passing. I knew the young man as a warm, kind, gentle person. He loved coming to practice and did a fantastic job. His smile and warmth will stay with me till we meet again. Bob Kunze Head Basketball coach of Duluth East.

Peder was a wonderful special person. He always was a happy child, and as an adult. My fond memories were St. MICHAELs school and church, he was always the serious person. When he couldn't be as tall as the others in conversation, he would stand on a chair. He made us all realized that his height was never an issue. We all have challenges in life, Peder knew how make sure his was minimal, & life is good, we all have a place. We loved, honored, & appreciated his abilities and talents, he had many to offer everyone.
Peder, Good luck on journey. Know that we all were loved you. I know you will be missed.

We are so saddened and heartbroken. Peder was a great friend to my husband Karl all these years. They have so many memories together. I’m sure their favorite was taking the boys to the Wild game together when it was outdoors at TCF stadium. The boys and Thaden spent lots of time together when they were younger. Play dates, Halloweens and 4th of July gatherings. It was always nice to park at his grandparents old house and walk over to Highland. He was always so generous. Peder and Karl were more like brothers than friends. We will miss him dearly.
