There will be food, music, storytelling, and the spirit of the islands as we share memories and celebrate Patti’s incredible life. Whether you bring a lei, a memory, or simply your presence, we will feel her aloha through each of us.

🍁 Autumn Memorial Cruise
In Loving Memory of Patricia Barnette 🍁

As the leaves turn and the crisp calm of autumn fills the air, we invite you to join us for a peaceful one-hour Memorial Cruise on Cayuga Lake - one of Patti’s most beloved places. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the season, we’ll gather on the water to reflect, share stories, and celebrate a life filled with love and light.

Together, in remembrance and gratitude, we’ll sail through autumn’s golden glow - a time of change, beauty, and reflection - just as Patti would have loved.

Boarding Time: 1:30 PM
Departure: 1:45 PM sharp (please be punctual)

🕰️ Please plan to arrive by 12:45 PM to allow ample time for parking and a smooth boarding process. The boat will depart promptly at 1:45 PM and, unfortunately, cannot wait for late arrivals.

🚶‍♀️🛍️ The Ithaca Farmers Market is a lovely spot to explore beforehand - feel free to browse the local vendors and enjoy a bite to eat before we gather for the cruise.

🍂Aboard the Cruise:
• Words of remembrance as we drift along Cayuga Lake’s fall-colored shores
• A shared group memorial activity (details TBC)
• Guests are encouraged to wear cozy autumn attire (sweaters, jackets, flat shoes)

🦋Following the Cruise:
At 4:00 PM, we invite you to join us for a peaceful walk through Taughannock Falls - a place Patti held close to her heart. As we walk together, we’ll continue in reflection, laugher, and the comfort of one another.

Once we reach The Falls, we’ll share a few stories and quietly carry out a little “undercover mission of love” - gently returning Patti to the waters she cherished so deeply. A simple, heartfelt gesture in a place that brought her so much joy, peace, and inspiration.

Together, as family and friends, we’ll share this act of love - knowing she’s not only part of the landscape she adored, but forever part of us.

We’re so glad to be able to gather together for dinner following the day’s events. To help cover the cost of the dinner, we kindly invite those who are able to consider a small donation toward dinner expenses. This is entirely optional - your presence is truly what matters most.

✨ Memorial Christmas Celebration ✨

As winter’s quiet beauty returns and Christmas lights dance in the night, we gather once more to honor the spirit and love of Patricia Barnette, whose light continues to shine brightly in our hearts.

You are warmly invited to join us for the Memorial Christmas Celebration - an evening woven with remembrance, laughter, and love, where the glow of friendship meets the sparkle of the season.

We will gather for a Christmas-themed dinner and a group visit to Tanglewood Festival of Lights. We will use this time to share warm memories, celebrate the spirit of the season, and honor our loved one whose joyful addiction to Christmas decorations will forever twinkle in our hearts.

✨ Complimentary transportation is provided to Festival of Lights. Guests will be responsible for their own meal.

Please let us know by December 8 if you’ll be joining us so we can prepare accordingly. If you’d like a seat reserved on the minibus to the Festival of Lights, please include that in your RSVP or send us a message. If you require accommodation, please also let us know as we will have a small room block at hotel.
