Paige's obituary
Paige Elise Tomberlin 26, passed away due to an accidental death on July 8, 2023. Paige was born in Fort Collins, CO June 3, 1997, to Gregg and Linda Tomberlin. The pregnancy timing was a surprise, but her parent’s cried tears of joy when their baby girl was born.
Paige grew up calling Windsor (Severance) home. Caring mentors, teachers, school administrators and coaches, helped Paige thrive and solidified her solid work ethic and strong sense of integrity. She graduated from Windsor High School and Colorado State University with a degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology where she then began her career in Human Resources working in Biotechnology companies in Boulder and Aurora (Anschutz campus). While her career was short, she was proud of her accomplishments and the impact she made in her co-workers’ lives.
Paige was passionate about the environment and worked to minimize her footprint in her daily life. We believe she would want others to be reminded of the importance of being environmentally conscious. The Wild Animal Sanctuary was especially important to Paige and for many years she forwarded any monetary gifts she received to the Sanctuary.
Paige will be remembered as an incredibly strong and compassionate woman, and she will be so very missed by her family and the many friends and colleagues whose lives she touched. She is survived by her parents, brothers JB Jensen (wife Kristi and daughter Noree) of Mead, CO, and Cole of Louisville, KY. Paige also had strong bonds with her grandparents, extended cousins, aunts and uncles in Colorado, Montana, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, and New York.
