Yesterday, we gathered to share our love and remembrances of Orpha. In spite of some challenging weather, it was a beautiful day.

Orpha Durgin of Arlington, VA, passed away on September 10, 2021 surrounded by the love and comfort of family, lifelong friends, and a very good dog.

Orpha was a masterful cook, a gardener, a lover of animals, a spirited dancer, a voracious reader and a skillful builder of decks and patios. She loved scooter riding, listening to a wide range of music, the beach, the theater, and entertaining friends in her beautiful home and gardens. …
